  • Why are there two Hogwarts Express events? Are they the same?

    • CAM Nepal has designated two days for Hogwarts Express 2017. The September 1st event is in the evening and is geared towards older fans who want to come by themselves or with friends. The September 2nd event is open to all ages, including younger fans who come with their parents during daylight hours.

    • The essential activities on both days are very similar, so if you miss the event on Friday, you are welcome to come on Saturday.

  • Where is the venue for Hogwarts Express?

    • Hogwarts Express will take place at the Children’s Art Museum of Nepal. It is located in Hattisar, on the top floor of the Buddha Air Building. 

  • Can I book tickets for this event?

    • No, we do not have ticket bookings this year as we have very limited tickets. You will need to buy your tickets to attend.

  • Where can I buy tickets?

    • Tickets are available at Children’s Art Museum of Nepal in Hattisar and at Flat Iron Grill in Hotel Ambassador, Lainchaur.

  • When does the event start? Do I have to be there exactly at the start time?

    • Hogwarts Express is from 4-8pm on September 1st, 2017. Hogwarts Express Junior is from 1-5pm on September 2nd, 2017. Activities remain the same throughout the evening so it is not necessary to be there exactly at starting time. However, we do encourage you to be there at least an hour before the event ends, so as to take full advantage of the activities.

  • Do I need to stay there for FOUR WHOLE HOURS?

    • No, that is not necessary!

  • Does the Entry ticket cover all activities?

    • No, the Entry ticket is valid for entrance and ONE basic charms class worth Rs. 150.

  • What are Hogwarts Classes? Will we be doing magic?

    • Hogwarts Express classes are inspired by the classes available at Hogwarts, and are not exact copies. Participants will be able to create things like charm bracelets, wands etc. Basic classes cost around Rs 150-200, and can be upgraded to add more charms, ingredients or materials.

  • Will there be food available at the event?

    • Yes, there will be a small food stall at the event.

  • How much does the event cost?

    • It depends on how many activities you do. Some activities are free, and some cost money. Activities are also upgradable for added cost.

  • Do I need to bring anything?

    • Please bring your entry ticket. It is required to gain admittance and claim your basic Charms class.

  • Is this a cosplay event? Do I need to dress up?

    • No, but we would love to see your Harry Potter costumes if you have any! We also highly encourage coming in House Colours.
